Our History
Founded over 50 years ago and located in Pointe-Claire, the West Island Conservatory of Music has a rich tradition of musical excellence serving the communities of Pointe-Claire, Dollard-des-Ormeaux, Kirkland, Beaconsfield, Pierrefonds, and Dorval. In 1997, new management under Mossor and Casny took over to modernize and sustain the institution’s operations.
The conservatory maintains its reputation as one of the most elite music schools in the country, offering private lessons in piano, guitar, voice, drums, violin, and 10 other instruments.

The conservatory employs highly qualified teachers who demonstrate excellent communication skills in teaching music and student motivation. Faculty members represent an international background, holding highly recognized university degrees in music from various countries worldwide.
